Last year was a full of events, memorable moments, and spreading appreciation to Veterans and Military!
From luncheons, to Valentine’s Day cards, to sock donations, and so much more, we are incredibly proud of all the work that our volunteers and donors have accomplished with us to thank the brave the Americans who serve our amazing country in 2024.
Here are some of the most notable events that took place:
December 01, 2024
Gratitude from an Undisclosed Location
Back in March we received a moving message from a deployed unit who recently faced the heartbreaking loss of three of their own. In their time of deep sorrow, Soldiers’ Angels was there—thanks to supporters like you—to provide comfort and care, reminding them they’re not alone. 💌✨
This is what they wrote:
Subject: Gratitude from an Undisclosed Location
Message: “You weren’t lying. We’re inundated with boxes of love and heartwarmers… weekly.”
While we can’t show their faces due to the sensitivity of their location, know that your generosity reaches even the most distant and vulnerable heroes. As we begin the Month of Giving, help us continue this vital support for those who need it most by rushing a year-end gift to Soldiers’ Angels. 🎄❤️

Even After They Come Home
We made a meaningful change to our trademarked motto earlier this year. The impactful motto of Soldiers’ Angels has resonated with Americans for over two decades. The words encapsulate the essence of our organization, serving as a poignant call to action that reminds us of the challenges our brave men and women in uniform face during deployment:
May No Soldier Go Unloved, May No Soldier Walk Alone, May No Soldier Be Forgotten, Until They All Come Home.™
However, over the past decade, it has become evident that our motto left out a critical element. Supporting our military members and acknowledging their sacrifices shouldn’t cease when they return from deployment. Many Veterans continue to grapple with challenges as they reintegrate into civilian life, from physical and mental health issues to employment struggles and social isolation. The battlefield may be left behind, but its echoes often linger.
And so, with great honor and pride, we unveiled the revised motto of Soldiers’ Angels in March of 2024:
May No Soldier Go Unloved, May No Soldier Walk Alone, May No Soldier Be Forgotten, Even After They Come Home.™
With help from all of you, we’re proud to carry forward this new vision and continue our unwavering support of our Nation’s heroes, past and present. Read the full announcement here.
Become an Angel volunteer today to help us spread this message and continue making a difference in the lives of Veterans and Service Members across the country.

Hero Highlight: StudStache Enforcer
Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities and we would like to pause to recognize the incredible strength and perseverance of our Veterans. Many of them return home with visible and invisible injuries, but they don’t let these challenges define them. Instead, they adapt, overcome, and turn their disabilities into sources of strength and determination. 💪
In this powerful video, we highlight the inspiring story of David Campos, a Veteran who exemplifies resilience and transformation. After returning from Iraq with debilitating PTSD, David found himself struggling with substance abuse. But instead of letting those struggles define him, he found a way to wrestle with his demons…literally. David pursued his lifelong dream of becoming a professional wrestler.
With the support of Soldiers’ Angels and his own determination, David reintegrated into civilian life and turned his passion into a thriving career. Today, he not only travels across North America as a pro wrestler, but he also mentors at-risk high school students, offering them guidance and hope to help them avoid the same struggles he faced.

Fighting Food Insecurity: Amy Palmer and David Avila Discuss the Urgent Need for Support
Christmas is a season of joy, gathering, and celebration. Yet, for some Service Members and Veterans, their tables may remain bare this holiday season.
To highlight this critical need, we’re featuring a powerful moment from earlier this year when Soldiers’ Angels CEO, Amy Palmer, and Army Veteran David Avila appeared on Fox News to discuss an urgent and often overlooked issue: food insecurity among Military and Veteran families. 📺
With inflation driving up costs, the number of Service Members experiencing food insecurity has surged to more than double that of their civilian counterparts. Amy Palmer shared how Soldiers’ Angels is taking action, providing targeted food aid and essential services to Veterans in need. Joined by David Avila, they emphasized the growing importance of this mission and how together, we can make a difference. 💛
