Soldiers' Angels Museum a Big Hit
Debuting at the Soldiers' Angels Leadership Meetings in Pasadena, a museum documenting the history and activities of Soldiers' Angels received rave reviews from attending Angels, military personnel, and members of supportive companies. Soldiers' Angels has since been flooded with requests to have it erected in towns around the country to help educate people about the need and opportunities for Americans to "support the troops" in both word and deed.
Packed with historical treasures, the museum is a testament to the life of soldiers in wartime, and the efforts of the homefront to meet their needs. Detailed displays documenting the Soldiers' Angels story include letters from the front, national and unit-based awards and commendations, photographs, media coverage of SA activities, artifacts from various SA projects, and sentimental thank you gifts from "adopted" soldiers.
