We're moving forward with Soldiers' Angels Project-360, and new developments are popping up every day! Here's the latest...
Under Project-360, the Soldiers’ Angels Support Center in San Antonio will host a full-circle drop-in resource center for service members from all branches, including an Entrepreneur Academy. The Academy will be centered around a “class” of 20-30 veteran entrepreneurs at a time who will train and work together to ensure new veterans find success in America’s “cut-throat” business environment.
The most exciting new development in Project-360 is the prospective involvement of University of Texas San Antonio. We're currently fine-tuning the details of how Soldiers' Angels and UTSA will join forces to provide exceptional entrepreneur skills sets and tools for veteran entrepreneurs. A soon-completed Memorandum of Understanding will mark a formal collaboration, allowing UTSA and Soldiers' Angels to develop a one-of-a-kind entrepreneur curriculum modeled after USTA's premier entrepreneur management/information technology degrees. We are also developing a certificate track that will allow students to convert their Academy classes and seminars into college credits if they choose to pursue additional education in business.
In another development we're making significant progress toward our goal of providing the Academy training online. This will allow veterans to participate in the Entrepreneur Academy training even if they are unable to relocate to San Antonio for the six months required to complete the curriculum.
