Write Letters to Deployed

Sadly, some service members get no mail from back home during their deployment. Thankfully, an army of volunteers on the Soldiers’ Angels Letter Writing Virtual Team are here to write letters to deployed to ensure they never feel alone.

Volunteers on this virtual team write letters to deployed service members who have registered to receive support from the Deployed Adoptions Team. The letters help to engage service members while they wait to be “adopted.” In addition, angels write letters to service members who may need an extra boost of support.

Angel Volunteer Commitment

Joining a virtual volunteer team through Soldiers’ Angels is a fun and rewarding commitment! Here’s what you’ll have to do as a part of the Letter Writing Team:

  • Send a minimum of one letter every 30 days
  • Request up to three names per day with a maximum of twenty-one per week.
  • Report the support you provided via our database
Letters from home provide a boost of morale for all deployed, especially those that may not otherwise receive support from home.
