Deployed military Chaplains bring comfort and assistance to service members throughout their deployment. The Soldiers’ Angels Chaplain Support Virtual Team provides direct (non-denominational) support to those Chaplains.
Volunteer to send Chaplains needed supplies so they can better support service members. Requested items from Chaplains include everything from non-denominational chapel supplies to delicious food items for special group meals, cards for the deployed to send to family members for holidays and birthdays, and things like games, sports equipment, or books for recreation.
Angel Volunteer Commitment
Joining a virtual volunteer team through Soldiers’ Angels is a fun and rewarding commitment! Here’s what you’ll have to do as a part of the Chaplain Support Team:
- Send one care package every 30 days
- Support a minimum of one Chaplain/Chaplain Assistant monthly
- Report the support you provided via our database
Volunteer to Support Deployed Chaplains
How It Works:
Step 2: After you’re approved, log into our database: Angel Base Camp. Click “Search Opportunities” and select an opportunity you would like to support.
Step 3: Based on information in your selected opportunity, you will work to fulfill the items requested from the Chaplain and send Chaplains needed supplies. Since Chaplains often support hundreds of service members at one time, this is a team effort and as many as 30 Angel volunteers may be working together to fulfill the needs of each Chaplain.
Step 4: Report the support you provided in Angel Base Camp and find another opportunity to support!
