As of today, 96 people have lost their lives due to this devastating Maui wildfires and it has officially been deemed the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than 100 years. In response, all available Federal assets on the islands have been ordered to help.

In addition, many local National Guard families have been directly impacted by the Maui wildfires.

Let’s act now and make sure that all Service Members activated or impacted by this devastating fire are supported.

Here’s How We Are Responding and How You Can Help:

Due to the challenges of getting items to the island and the current lack of power and internet in the most devastated areas, the best way we can support this situation at this moment is through financial contributions of cash or gift cards.

This support will be passed to leadership on the ground to use for the items most needed to carry out their mission in supporting local citizens and tourists—water, food, clothing, etc. In addition, local National Guard families that may have been directly impacted will need all the support they can get to rebuild from the devastation.

Update August 21: Soldiers’ Angels is coordinating with the VA Pacific Islands to collect much-needed items. We have put together an Amazon Gift List with their guidance and will be collecting the items at our warehouse to be palletized and shipped to Hawaii. The VA will distribute the items to Veterans in need through stations on Maui. The government estimates that over 3,000 Veterans have been impacted by these wildfires.
