The Chamber is responsible for collecting candy during our annual Stuart Spooktacular, presented by the Patrick County Young Professionals. This Halloween event provides a safe spot for our rural community to trick or treat in. We have collection bins manned by members of our county Honor Guard at major through a fare and ask kids to share their candy with troops. It’s a great added addition to our event and the Honor Guard who stepped in last year to help really enjoyed seeing the kids and families. We collect only at that event. the Stuart Spooktacular is in it’s 7th year and this will be our 3 or 4th year collecting candy. We have previously donated it to Operation Gratitude, but have learned they are no longer receiving candy.
