We receive many thank you notes from the service members and veterans that we serve– but it makes it even more special when those service members return home safely from deployment and then sign up to become Angels themselves! Take a look at this great thank you note from a Sailor turned Angel:

“Good evening,
This message is just a Thank You message to all of the Volunteers and partners of Soldiers’ Angels. I am an Active Duty Sailor and while I was deployed Soldiers’ Angels helped me through my deployment with the Care Packages and endless letters. I tried to thank everyone who reached out to me until the mission ramped up and I couldn’t always reply in a timely manner. I still feel guilty about those I couldn’t reach out to. But I am paying it forward. I have always taken care of my own Sailors who were deployed but I know how much care packages can improve morale so I registered to become an “Angel” so I can reach out to more people. Thank you so much for all you do. I look forward to helping my brothers and sisters in arms. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!”
