News Release: Soldiers’ Angels and Power Home Remodeling Partner

Soldiers’ Angels and Power Home Remodeling Partner for 2024 Home of the Brave Campaign this Veterans Day

Supporters display their gratitude and appreciation at VA medical facilities across the nation on Veterans Day

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The national nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels today announced Power Home Remodeling (POWER) – the nation’s leading exterior home remodeler – as the Title Sponsor for its 2024 Home of the Brave campaign. The annual Veterans Day program brings corporate volunteers to Veterans Affairs medical facilities across the country to show their gratitude and appreciation for our nation’s heroes. Bristol Myers Squibb, Navy Federal Credit Union, Charles Schwab, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, LinQuest, and Lockheed Martin were also announced as 2024 partners.

“The opportunities provided to Home of the Brave sponsor volunteers create unforgettable moments – both for the employee and our Veterans,” said Soldiers’ Angels President and CEO Amy Palmer. “By personally thanking our heroes and serving those who served us, we forge a lasting impact that honors their sacrifice and brightens their day. We believe that small gestures like visiting with patients and serving meals can make big differences in our Veterans’ lives.”

Since its inception in 2012, Soldiers’ Angels corporate partners have contributed nearly 53,000 volunteer hours to honor almost 283,000 Veterans recovering or living in VA medical facilities during just the week of Veterans Day. In 2023 alone, Home of the Brave supporters contributed 3,846 volunteer hours to 82 VA facilities across 35 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.
