Angel on the Move
August 6, 2015
Amy Krome became a Soldiers’ Angels volunteer in March 2005. After the tragic events of 9/11, Amy wanted to do something to give back, but due to her physical disability it was difficult for her to find the best way to give back. Now, in the 10th year anniversary of being an ‘Angel’ to our military service members and veterans, Amy is taking on another challenge to support our brave men and women in uniform and our veterans. On September 5th & 6th, Amy is going to bike a little over 8 miles through Legacy Trail in Lexington, KY to raise funds for Soldiers’ Angels.
As Amy says, “I DON’T LIKE to be told I can’t! I LOVE the SHOCK and AWE factor! Determination! I’ve wanted to do a Bike Ride Event since I started at Soldiers’ Angels and now is a great time to do it.”
Determination is a great word for Amy and all of our Angel volunteers at Soldiers’ Angels. If you would like to support Amy in raising awareness and funds for Soldiers’ Angels, please visit her donation page at http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/AmyKrome/Angelonthemove.
Amy is truly an ‘Angel on the Move”!
