Collection is from a small K-8 school of about 200 students. Will have each student donate pieces of candy from their own stash and collect in a bin at the front office. My estimate of 10 lbs is a total guess. We have never done this before but we are doing a Veterans Service Project for the 4th grade this year and thought this fit well as a way to give back to active duty military:)
