Soldiers’ Angels, the Vet Center and the San Antonio Food bank teamed up to host a Mobile Food Pantry in San Antonio, Texas for local Veterans on Thursday, September 10th, 2015. The event was located at the San Antonio Vet Center and the goal was to supply 200 Veteran families with 50lbs of free food. The event, which lasted a little over two hours, far surpassed it’s goal! The 50lbs of food was given out to 164 Veteran families and 526 individual Veterans! A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to help make the event a success.
