Soldiers’ Angels Earns 2025 Candid Platinum Transparency Seal
May 15, 2025
Soldiers’ Angels is proud to announce that we have once again earned the Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency for 2025.
This prestigious recognition is the highest level of transparency awarded by Candid (formerly GuideStar) and reflects our continued commitment to accountability, integrity, and measurable impact.
What Is the Candid Platinum Transparency Seal?

Candid is a trusted source for nonprofit data and insights. Their Transparency Seal program helps donors identify trustworthy organizations based on their commitment to openness and data-sharing. The Platinum Seal is the highest honor in Candid’s tiered system, signifying that a nonprofit has shared comprehensive financial and operational information, as well as detailed metrics that demonstrate program outcomes and mission-driven progress.
To earn the Platinum Seal, nonprofits must:
- Provide financial information and Form 990s
- Share qualitative and quantitative program outcomes
- Report key metrics aligned with their mission and strategic goals
At Soldiers’ Angels, we are proud to go above and beyond in sharing how we use donor funds and the tangible results of our work.
Why Transparency Matters
Transparency is more than a best practice—it’s a promise. Supporters, partners, and donors deserve to know exactly how their contributions are making a difference. By earning and maintaining the Platinum Seal, Soldiers’ Angels reinforces its commitment to using donor resources responsibly, achieving measurable results, and being fully accountable to our supporters.
Donors can give with confidence knowing that Soldiers’ Angels consistently meets the highest standards of nonprofit accountability.
What This Means for Our Work
As a national nonprofit serving deployed Service Members, Veterans, and Military families, Soldiers’ Angels depends on the trust and support of our community. Our Platinum status signals to funders, volunteers, and partners that we are not only mission-focused, but also results-driven and transparent in our operations.
In 2024, donor support helped us:
- Distribute thousands of care packages and hygiene kits
- Serve groceries to Military and Veteran families through our food distribution events
- Offer comfort and companionship to hospitalized Veterans
- Mobilize thousands of volunteers nationwide to support Military-connected individuals
Our ability to share these outcomes with full transparency helps strengthen our relationships and inspire continued support.
Thank You for Making This Possible
This achievement belongs to our entire community. From our generous donors to our tireless volunteers and corporate partners—you make our mission possible. Your trust fuels our ability to serve, and your belief in our work motivates us to always do more.
Together, we are building a stronger, more transparent future in service to those who serve and have served.
