Operation: Warm Winter – Help Us Surpass Our Goal

At Soldiers’ Angels, we’re on a mission to ensure homeless Veterans across the country stay warm this winter. Operation: Warm Winter has been an incredible success so far, and thanks to your generosity, we’ve already surpassed our goal of collecting 2,000 warm winter items! But we’re not stopping there. With just one week left, we want to see how far we can push past that goal to help even more Veterans in need.

What We’ve Accomplished So Far

A homeless Veteran and her pup received a warm blanket from Operation: Warm Winter 2023.

Since launching the campaign, hundreds of supporters have donated blankets, coats, gloves, and hats to provide critical warmth to Veterans living on the streets or in shelters. With the cold weather quickly approaching, these donations will make a real difference in the lives of those who served our country. But we know there are still many more Veterans in need of our help.

Let’s Finish Strong—Here’s How You Can Help!

As we approach the final week of Operation: Warm Winter, we need your help to make the biggest impact possible. Here’s how you can get involved and help us finish strong:

Winter items ready to be shipped to Veterans in need.
  1. Host a Collection Drive
It’s not too late to gather friends, family, or coworkers and host a quick, one-week-long collection drive! Encourage your community to donate blankets, coats, gloves, and hats. Every item collected will go directly to a Veteran in need.
  2. Shop from Our Amazon Registry
If you prefer a quick and easy way to help, you can shop from our Amazon registry and have winter essentials sent directly to Soldiers’ Angels. It’s the perfect option for those who want to make an immediate impact.
  3. Make a Financial Donation
Not sure what to donate? A financial contribution allows us to purchase exactly what’s needed to keep Veterans warm this winter. Every dollar makes a difference, and no amount is too small.

Why It Matters

The Veterans we serve often face extreme challenges, from financial hardship to homelessness. With winter right around the corner, the need for warm clothing and blankets is critical. Many of those without family support rely on donations like the ones you provide.

By participating in Operation: Warm Winter, you’re doing more than just providing physical warmth—you’re showing these Veterans that they are remembered, valued, and honored for their service. Every donation helps restore dignity and brings hope to Veterans who have given so much for our country.

Last Call for Collection Drives and Donations!

As the campaign winds down, we want to remind everyone hosting a collection drive to send in their donations before the deadline. The campaign ends on September 30th and items must be received at our warehouse in San Antonio by October 15th in order to count towards the goal.

Shipping or drop-off instructions can be found on our website here. Also, be sure to fill out the intent to donate form before shipping or dropping off! This will help our warehouse team immensely and also ensure you receive a tax letter for your donation in a timely fashion.

And if you’ve been meaning to donate, this is your last call to take action and be part of this heartwarming mission. Donate now!

The deadline is quickly approaching, but there’s still time to make an impact. Whether you’re sending in collected items, shopping from our registry, or making a financial contribution, every effort counts.
