SAN ANTONIO – More than 90,000 veterans in San Antonio would lose VA benefits during a shutdown. We found out what’s available to them if they have to go for an extended amount of time without a paycheck.
“Right now we live check to check, everything we get, I get paid once a month and that pays got to last a whole month,” says veteran David Avila.
