Soldiers’ Angels Launches the 2026 Home of the Brave Campaign for Veterans Day

Corporate volunteers to honor Veterans at VA medical facilities nationwide on November 11

SAN ANTONIO | October 19, 2026

The national nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels today announced McKesson, a leading healthcare services company, as the Title Partner for its 2026 Home of the Brave campaign.

The annual Veterans Day program brings corporate volunteers to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facilities across the country to show their gratitude and appreciation for our nation’s heroes. Additional 2026 partners include L3Harris, Navy Federal Credit Union, SRS Raise the Roof Foundation, and Vibrant Ingredients.

“Through Home of the Brave, employees of our sponsoring companies have the unique opportunity to personally thank and serve our nation’s Veterans,” said Amy Palmer, President and CEO of Soldiers’ Angels. “Whether they’re sharing a meal, offering a heartfelt thank you, or simply spending time together, these meaningful interactions remind our Veterans that their service is remembered and appreciated. They also leave volunteers with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the sacrifices made by those who wore the uniform.”

Since launching in 2012, Home of the Brave corporate partners have contributed nearly 60,000 volunteer hours while honoring almost 312,000 Veterans recovering or living in VA medical facilities during Veterans Day week. In 2025 alone, volunteers contributed 2,493 hours at 56 VA facilities across 30 states and Washington, D.C. Learn more at Soldiersangels.org/HomeoftheBrave.

As Title Sponsor, McKesson employees will join volunteers from partner organizations across the country in honoring Veterans at VA medical facilities through shared meals, visits, and other appreciation activities.

“At McKesson, our purpose is Advancing Health Outcomes for All®, and that includes standing behind the men and women who have worn the uniform,” said Nimesh Jhaveri, R.Ph., Executive Vice President and Chief Impact Officer at McKesson. “We’re honored to partner with Soldiers’ Angels on the Home of the Brave campaign and provide our employees with the opportunity to give back, spend time with Veterans, and pay tribute to their service. These moments of connection reflect our ongoing commitment to strengthening the communities we serve.”
