San Antonio breweries gear up for 4th of July with new beers honoring military

Upcoming Beer Releases in San Antonio
Roughhouse Brewing in San Marcos is gearing up for the launch Thumper, a watermelon sour The brewery is holding the Red, White and Brewed release party on July 2 from 12 to 10 p.m. Roughhouse Brewing is located at 680 Oakwood Loop and is open from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Longtab Brewing is releasing the aptly named Longtab Lager on July 4 and is celebrating the new beer with a cookout at the brewery. The Longtab Lager is the brewery’s new house lager and brewers said the goal was to create a delicious beer to be enjoyed on the river.

Alamo Beer Company announced a party on July 3 to celebrate the release of the Homefront IPA. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Soldier’s Angels, a non-profit that supports deployed service members, military families, and veterans.
