Sending Halloween Spirit to Deployed Troops
Treats for Troops isn’t the only Halloween spirit we send overseas. Our Angels work hard to send unique and fun care packages each Halloween to share in the thrill of the spooky season and help make October a little more fun!

We learned early on at Soldiers’ Angels that any opportunity to have a little fun or celebrate a holiday is a welcomed treat for deployed service members. It helps boost moral, promotes comradery, and gives our heroes a chance to kick back and have a few laughs. Halloween is no exception, which is why each year we ask people to donate leftover Halloween candy to the Soldiers’ Angels Treats for Troops program.
But Treat for Troops isn’t the only Halloween spirit we send overseas. Our Angels work hard to send unique and fun care packages each Halloween to share in the thrill of the spooky season and help make October a little more fun!
This year, we put out a special opportunity for Soldiers’ Angels Team Angels to send support after a Chaplain requested Halloween items for his unit deployed to the Middle East. We asked a few angels to answer the call and send items to help make a fun “photo booth” backdrop and props. We also recruited angels from the Soldiers’ Angels Angel Bakers Team to add some Halloween themed treats, party supplies and costumes.
Our incredible Angel volunteers jumped at the opportunity to make the holiday special for our troops and went above and beyond to send party supplies, decor, candy, costumes, the cutest Halloween cookies, and more! Here are just a few photos, but you can see all of the work our amazing angels put into the festivities here.
A Halloween party they’ll never forget
We’re happy to report that the supplies were well received and incorporated into a Halloween celebration they will never forget!
“Thank you so much for helping get Halloween party decorations and goodies to us. Last night we had our Halloween party and it was a great time. I’ve attached pictures for you to better see the success. Again, thank you for all of your assistance.” – Stephen
