Email Outage

On Friday, December 2, 2022, Rackspace, the technology company hosting the Soldiers’ Angels email accounts, experienced a security breach affecting their hosting environment. Due to the breach, Rackspace disabled access to all email accounts. This included the Soldiers’ Angels email accounts.
This means that since Friday, December 2, Soldiers’ Angels has not been able to access any emails that were sent to any employee, volunteer, or program that ends with our domain, ie: “@soldiersangels.org.”
The situation at Rackspace is still ongoing, but we have been working diligently through the weekend to complete a workaround that would allow everyone to be able to send emails and receive any new emails. As of early this afternoon, we did complete that workaround.
However, although we are now receiving emails, we are still not able to access any emails sent since December 2nd. We know this is one of the busiest times of the year and we have thousands of individuals reaching out for assistance with Holiday Stockings for Heroes, Adopt-A-Family, or any number of our regular programs and services. So please bear with us as we work thorough this problem together!
If you were in contact with someone at Soldiers’ Angels prior to today, Monday 12/5/2022 and haven’t received a response to your email, it is likely a result of this outage.
If you emailed anyone at Soldiers’ Angels between 12/2/2022 – 12/5/2022, we cannot access your email, please resend!!
