Calling all breweries! It’s time to pledge to join this year’s Hops for Heroes Homefront Campaign! Will you be one of the 50 breweries who brews your support of our Nation’s heroes? Hops for Heroes is an annual campaign that rallies the support of breweries and homebrewers of all sizes to brew a custom recipe, Homefront IPA™, or other Homefront beer, and donate the net proceeds to Soldiers’ Angels to support U.S. Service Members, Veterans, and their families.

Sound exciting? Joining early has its perks: Only 50 spots are available to be part of this exclusive patriotic experience, so the earlier you join, the more likely you’ll secure your spot among the 50. It also means we have more time to promote you as an official brewery to our hundreds of thousands of followers! We ask that your Homefront release party be between Memorial Day and Veterans Day (preferably a military holiday). Signing on early means you have plenty of time to add it to your brew schedule and engage your military community to support the release.

What’s new in 2024

We have a few new things in store for breweries in 2024.

• This year, breweries may brew any type of beer recipe they would like (i.e., IPA, stout, lager, etc.) as long as they title it “Homefront”  (i.e., Homefront Blonde, Homefront Stout, Homefront Lager, etc.)
• Breweries can determine the Hops for Heroes swag they receive based on donation levels.

Hops for Heroes Traditions

Here’s a reminder of the fun things we continue to do to support our Hops for Heroes breweries.

• Provide breweries with the official Homefront IPA recipe, developed by Hops for Heroes co-founder Chris Ray (former MLB player). 
• Depending on the anticipated donation, you may receive an engraved bat from Cooperstown Bat, hops from Hops Direct, t-shirts, and the Homefront 2024 tap handle.
• Promotional support of your Homefront release and brewery participation in the program

Soldiers’ Angels continues to be one of the largest Military and Veteran nonprofit organizations in the country serving over 1,000,000 Service Members and Veterans in 2023 alone.  We are still one of the highest-rated charities in America according to charity watchdog groups and 96 cents of every dollar donated goes to our programs to enhance the lives of those who have served or are serving our country.
