The year has just begun and Orland Park Scout Troop 318 has been busy, focusing on service to others. They believe being a Scout means being kind and helpful, and demonstrating the power of community. At their latest meeting, the Troop finished making blankets for Project Linus, a charity which donates no-sew blankets to seriously and terminally ill children across the country. Next, the scouts created, Valentine letters to sent to Veterans through a charity called Soldiers’ Angels.
