At Soldiers’ Angels, we believe that no one who served our country should struggle to put food on the table. That’s why we offer a range of food assistance programs to support low-income Military and Veteran families—ensuring access to nutritious food when it’s needed most.

Military & Veteran Food Distributions
In cities across the country, Soldiers’ Angels hosts monthly drive-through Food Distributions for active duty Service Members, Guardsmen, Reservists, and Veterans of all generations. These large-scale events take place in the following locations:
Atlanta, Charleston, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Orlando, San Antonio, and Washington, D.C.
Each registered participant receives approximately 75 pounds of food, including fresh produce, meats, and non-perishable items—enough to provide up to two weeks of meals for a family of four. Depending on the location, each event supports 150-300 Service Members, Veterans, and their families per month.
Food Pantry Events
Soldiers’ Angels also hosts food pantry events in select cities to provide healthy groceries to Military and Veteran families facing food insecurity. These events are held once or twice per month, depending on the location, and offer convenient access to essential items like fresh produce, frozen goods, and pantry staples. Current and upcoming locations include:

These pantry events are designed to offer ongoing support to individuals and families in need, while fostering community and connection in each location.
Box Lunches & VA Cafeteria Gift Cards
Soldiers’ Angels also works with VA case managers and social workers across the country to provide food support directly to Veterans in need. Through our Box Lunch and VA Cafeteria Gift Card programs, we ensure that low-income, homeless, and at-risk Veterans facing food insecurity receive nourishing meals and the comfort of knowing they’re cared for. Box Lunches are provided as a non-perishable option at VAs and at Stand Down events nationwide, while VA Cafeteria Gift Cards offer a hot meal to Veterans attending appointments or those who must fast for treatments like chemo or dialysis and cannot afford to eat in the cafeteria afterward. Together, these efforts help bridge the gap for Veterans facing food insecurity, bringing relief and dignity to heroes in need.

What to expect if you attend a Soldiers’ Angels Military and Veteran Food Distribution.
The Soldiers’ Angels Military & Veteran Food Distribution events are designed to be an easy no-hassle way for Service Members and Veterans in need to receive food support. After registering for an event, the Service Member or Veteran will arrive during a specified time slot on the day of the event and drive through a line where volunteers will load groceries into their car. Those without cars are encouraged to bring backpacks, push carts, or wagons and volunteers will load you up with as many groceries as you can carry.
This is not a handout and there is no need to feel conscious about attending a food distribution event. This is a hand up and our volunteers are eager to lift you up, help you through, and thank you for your service. In fact, many of our volunteers are active duty Service Members, Guardsmen, Reservists, or Veterans themselves. They know the struggles you may be facing and are there to support their fellow brothers and sisters in arms.
