Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day
March 30, 2017
Homecoming videos of troops coming home to their families are pretty prevalent these days. But they didn’t used to be. Not for lack of technology, but because there was a stigma against Vietnam veterans, and the war that they fought. Because these brave men and women were denied a proper welcome home 40 years ago, Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day has been designated as a day to honor and give thanks to Vietnam veterans, on the day that the last combat troops and POWs were were brought back to American soil.
Vietnam veterans never got the warm welcome home that some of our troops get now. They need to be shown love and appreciation for their service.
If you know any Vietnam Vets, welcome them home and thank them for their service. Here’s a graphic you can share with them! Click here to download.
If you are a Vietnam Vet, we want you to know that we are eternally grateful for you and your service.
