SERVICE CIRCUIT: Soldiers’ Angels help woman down on luck

When Detroiter and U.S. Air Force veteran Tanika Graham’s hours at a logistics company were cut during the COVID crisis, she lost her home and lived in her car for six months while her two children lived with relatives.

Through the Department of Veterans Affairs, she obtained housing through the government’s HUD-VASH program. But it was the nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels that helped her get furnishings and household items through its Homeless Veteran Housing Pack.
