Fighting the Inner Battle

There are approximately 1.64 million troops that have been deployed overseas to support operations in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001. Just because some of our heroes come home without visible wounds, doesn’t mean they are wound free. Unfortunately for our brave military men and women, not all wounds are visible.
Many of our troops come home only to face mental health issues that affect them as they transition back to their families and to civilian life. Here is an infographic put together by Vehicles for Veterans with some very important stats about the challenges our heroes face coming home from deployment.
