Supporting Veterans Impacted by the Los Angeles Wildfires
January 16, 2025
The devastating Los Angeles wildfires have left many families grappling with significant loss and uncertainty. Soldiers’ Angels is working directly with the Los Angeles VA and local military units to provide critical support to Veterans, Service Members, and their families who have been directly impacted by this disaster.
Helping Veteran Families in Crisis
The Los Angeles VA is actively assisting Veteran families who have lost everything in the fires. Additionally, they are supporting those who have been displaced and forced to evacuate. Soldiers’ Angels is stepping in to provide essential items and support to these families during this incredibly difficult time. At the time of writing, the fires remain uncontained, and the already immense need for support is expected to grow significantly in the coming days and weeks.
Supporting Active Duty Service Members and National Guard
In addition to aiding Veterans impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires, Soldiers’ Angels is collaborating with local active-duty units to ensure that Service Members and their families affected by the wildfires receive the assistance they need.
Furthermore, thousands of National Guard and Reserve Service Members have been activated to assist in disaster relief efforts, with more expected to join in the coming weeks. Soldiers’ Angels is committed to supporting these brave individuals as they work tirelessly to protect and rebuild affected communities.
