You can make a BIG impact on the lives of service members, veterans, wounded heroes, and their families by becoming a Soldiers’ Angels Community Partner!
A Soldiers’ Angels Community Partner is a group, business, or individual that has the desire to help us with the work we are doing to support military families, wounded heroes, deployed service members, and veterans. In order to keep our overhead low and provide as much support as we can to these brave men and women, we team up with Community Partners. These groups are excited to be a part of our mission by hosting collection campaigns for needed items or monetary donations.
What’s a Community Partner?
Community Partners are simply groups of people who help support our efforts to ensure that no soldier goes unloved. A community partner can be a business, organization, civic group, church, school or any group of people willing to help Soldiers’ Angels support our military throughout the year.
Our Community Partnerships run from January 1-December 31. They can start at any time during the year but end at the end of the year.
What Do Community Partners Do?
As a community partner, you can do a number of things to help – it all depends on your resources and interest.

1. Host a Collection Drive for Used Technology
You can collect used technology products or even printer and toner cartridges and send them to Soldiers’ Angels. We will recycle these items through a process that will donate the value back to Soldiers’ Angels.
2. Host a Collection Drive for Wish List Items
You can also host a collection drive for wish list items to be used in care packages, hygiene kits, and box lunches for homeless veterans. In order to be considered a community partner, your group will need to collect 50 of our wish list items and mail them to an address provided by us.
3. Collect Monetary Donations
It costs us approximately $50 to stuff a medium-sized care package with items needed and requested by deployed service members and an additional $20 to cover the cost of shipping the package overseas. Organizing a fundraiser in partnership with Soldiers’ Angels helps us continue to ship those care packages. To be a community partner, groups are asked to raise a minimum of $150 from monetary collections during the calendar year in which your group is participating.
