Let’s talk about LOVE…

Not the cupid’s arrow, Hallmark Greeting Card, mushy stuff. Love for your community, your neighbors, and the people who serve this great country of ours. 

Random Acts of Kindness week is February 9^th-15^th and Random Acts of Kindness Day is on the 16^th. Why not take this opportunity to show love and appreciation for our service men and women through random acts of kindness?

Step out of your normal routine and comfort zone and consider doing something nice for a service member or veteran.

Here are some ideas:

• Say thank you to service members you see
• Buy lunch for a veteran
• Buy a Cup of Joe for a Joe
• Hand out gif cards to service members you may see out and about
• Sign up to be a Letter Writer and write some Letters to deployed soldiers
• Donate a laptop to our Valor IT program
• Donate to Soldiers’ Angels so we can keep our programs running
• Consider becoming a Community Partner and hosting a supply drive
• Download the CauseTap app. Each download between Feb 11^th and 15^th benefits Soldiers’ Angels.

 

Since Valentine’s Day falls on Random Acts of Kindness Week, here’s a great “Valentine” to share with veterans and service members you know to say thank you.
