Message of Support

Highlight image

As uncertainty mounts around the current situation in the Middle East and deployments continue to affect our troops and families, Soldiers' Angels President and CEO has an important message to all military families and those who are willing to step up and support them:

"For the past seventeen years, it has been the mission of Soldiers' Angels to support our troops and their families— and right now is no different. Politics aside, there is stress being felt by military families whose futures are unclear. To those families, please know we are with you during this time, and we are here to provide aid and comfort however we can. This is why we exist. Please keep all those heading into harm's way in your thoughts. May No Soldier Go Unloved." - Amy Palmer, President & CEO of Soldiers' Angels

July 31, 2020

July 27, 2020 | By Black Rifle Coffee Company

Salt Lake City, UT -- Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC), America’s leading Veteran-owned and operated premium, small-batch coffee roastery, is teaming up with Operation Supply Drop and Soldiers’ Angels to deliver more than 30,000 bags of fresh, roast-to-order coffee to troops serving overseas, veterans, and active reserves.

The delivery comes at the culmination of BRCC’s Independence Day “Buy a Bag, Give a Bag” campaign, a BRCC community-powered initiative designed to serve those who serve America. For every purchase of BRCC’s limited release Liberty Roast -- a medium-bodied coffee with hints of almond, honey, grapefruit, minimal acidity, and maximum freedom -- BRCC is donating a bag to deployed servicemen and women.

Veteran Works With Organization to Promote Healing Through Helping

For many, helping those who need it just comes naturally. But for others, that drive is born out of a need to heal.

For Marine Corps veteran Dustin Bird, helping other veterans find food during this pandemic is his biggest mission lately.

Visit a Veteran Virtually

Due to the current health crisis, neither family members nor volunteers are able to visit with hospitalized veterans in VA facilities. To help engage the veteran patients and ensure they do not feel isolated and alone, Soldiers' Angels has donated tablets and other devices to the Atlanta VA so that veterans can visit with family members and volunteers virtually.

But now we need your help to fill those volunteer positions and visit with hospitalized veterans via video chat. Can you spare 30 minutes of your day to visit a veteran?

It Takes a Community to Provide COVID Support

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to look differently at how we support service members, veterans, and military families. As the needs of each of these communities has shifted, we have done our best to pivot to be able to support them. We definitely couldn’t do it alone, which is why we would like to honor several businesses and organizations who helped provide much needed resources so that we could continue to serve our military.

And the Winner is...

If you've been following our story over the past several weeks, you probably know that we had a very generous donor who provided a whole pallet of toilet paper for us to share with our supporters. With so many people facing the challenge of finding toilet paper and the many inspiring stories circulating the internet about how people are sharing their toilet paper from quarantine (or doing silly things like building toilet paper obstacle courses for their pets), we thought it would be fun to encourage our supporters to decide if they would "share the care" or keep the entire pallet for themselves... which, with 1,920 rolls of toilet paper included, is basically a lifetime supply!!

Click here to read more and find out who the lucky winner is and what they decided to do with all of that TP...
