It is hard being away from family, friends, and loved ones but you make what seems impossible, possible. Thank you! - SSgt Farr in Iraq, May 2011

Knowing that someone cared about me during the toughest times of my life meant everything to me. I literally grew up in Iraq. I served when I was 19 years old, 20 years old and 21...The letters and boxes my troops and I received from you made us feel like we were worth something when our hearts hurt from the war. To the heroes who write the letters and send the care packages: Thank You. - Anonymous soldier, May 2011

You were extremely instrumental in reuniting family members with their ill/injured Marines during my 3 years at NNMC [Bethesda] and WRAMC [Walter Reed]. Lynette is just fantastic, as is the whole organization!! You connected my Marines with their loved ones over and over and over again... especially since "fiance's are not covered under Invitational Travel Orders (ITO's)." Thank you very much for your contribution to the care and comfort of my brothers!!! - Adam, May 2011

I wanted to send a Thank You from my husband SSG Page, who is an adopted soldier! He is overwhelmed by all of the love and support and while he may not be able to write back to everyone, he's saved all of the cards and letters and loves his care packages and always shares with everyone! - Anonyous Angel, May 2011

Us Aussie Troops here in the Middle East are serving with your American Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen and were thrilled that they shared your warm wishes and yummy Girl Scout biscuits with us.  Thank you, they were awesome. - May 2011

We all so greatly appreciate everything you do! I am currently on my third deployment to Iraq and was part of this wonderful program during my last tour. It was such a blessing to have letters and care packages sent to me.  It made such a difference in my overall morale to have someone care so much. I'm just grateful to receive anything you're willing to send. Once again (and i can't say it enough), thank you so very dearly. - SGT T

I appreciate the support that Soldiers' Angels has provided over the duration of the war for those of us that have been out here. From the very first and now to us--the very last active duty Attack Aviation Unit in country--allow me to extend thanks for the hard work and dedication that your organization has shown. - SPC A in Iraq, February 2011

I've been deployed twice and I’ve never got a care package… it makes [it] seem as if my family doesn’t even care. Sometimes I ask God, “Why am I even here?”  Then he reminds me of all the people that are being protected. Then I realize that what I do is real…  [You] take the time to care for me/us when the people who are supposed to be there don’t. Thank you.  And for the people that help and support us? I will fight for them any day. - SGT M, February 2011

Today I received the most wonderful "box of love" in the mail.  Receiving mail for a deployed service member is something akin to a Christmas or a Birthday... but a box full of such thoughtful goodies--packaged and sent by people I have never met--is truly a blessing and leaves me humbled...You truly lifted my spirits and made my day! - Shannon in Afghanistan, January 2011

We are in the Persian Gulf right now...The knit caps and socks that you included were put to use very quickly by my young sailors that thought the Persian Gulf was always hot.  We will continue to serve & volunteer and be in harm's way so long as people like yourself exist.  I can not put into words what you do for us when you do such unselfish acts. - Miguel, US Navy, January 2011

A letter, a care package and some kind words connect us with what is most important to us: our country, our heritage and our families.  Thank you for being that harbinger of patriotism and the values we hold so dear…You have done more than you know with your acts of kindness and support. - Maj McConnel, USMC in Afghanistan, January 2011

Thank you so much for your support.  You make our hard times here so much easier!  - SSG Akers, U.S. Army in Afghanistan, January 2011 [picture on right]

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you gave the [us] and our wounded soldiers here in Afghanistan.  We want to express how much your support has brightened many lives.  It has been a pleasure working with you and hopefully I can join you all when I come home. - MAJ Emma, 555th Forward Surgical Team, January 2011

All of you have gone above and beyond in giving. Your effort shows us that you care.  I see all of the boxes coming in to us and I realized that we are not the only unit that you are giving to.  I don't know who you are but I will never look at a crowd at home the same way ever again.  I will know that in that crowd of people there are Soldier's Angels among us. - SFC "P" in Aghanistan, responding to Christmas 2010 car package shipments

Searching around on this website has made me smile more than I have since I arrived here, knowing that we have so many supporters waiting for us to all come home. You all mean a lot to each and every one of us...You are all truly angels!! – Amber, Soldier in Afghanistan, January 2011

We very much appreciate the packages in which you have sent us, ...especially since our area does not have any PX to get to. Also we are grateful to know that there are people back home whom are willing to help keep our morale up during this hard times of deployment...The number one morale booster here in Afghanistan for us is mail/packages, and receiving those from you angels helped the soldiers whom were not receiving any for the 7 months we been here. - SPC F.M., January 2011

Thank you very much for the coffee. The meaning behind the coffee, your coffee, is what matters most.  It symbolizes that someone cares about our well-being, peace of mind, and day to day functioning. While coffee is just a small token of your appreciation, the support and encouragement underlying this gift is priceless! - CPT Jeffrey B, “Sky Soldiers,” November 2010

I am very thankful for your kind gesture.  I have taken the Soldiers' Angels patch and sewn it inside my hat.  I wore this hat the entire year I served in Afghanistan. - Chris in Iraq, November 2010

I would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting me during my deployment.  You have truly lifted up my spirits. - SGT Amos, November 2010

You have no idea the impact you have on our lives when we're deployed around the world. Remember that no letter goes unread... even if you don't get a letter back, just know that everything is well received and appreciated! We only wish we had enough time to respond to all of the wonderful letters and great care packages.... We love everything that you do! - A recently-returned Airman, November 2010

I have family at home but i don't receive much support as far as email, letters, or care packages. I've been pretty depressed about the whole thing. Just as I was feeling hopeless, I stumbled upon this site in the chaplain's office. You support is appreciated more than you realize. - SSG M. in Iraq, Nove mber 2010

My daughter Jenna just got home for R&R from Afghanistan. She had not been home an hour when she said "Mom, I got you something" and handed me the book May No Soldier Go Unloved - I'm only on chapter 2 and I laughed and cried. Oh, to be connected to another mother's heart! Priceless. - Debbie, September 2010

My sincere thanks to your organization for sending emails and packages to my grandson in the Army in Germany.  It has meant to so much to him since he is 19 and a long way from home. He is thrilled every time he hears from your wonderful volunteers. Again, thank you from his family. - Kay, April 2010

To all of you from Soldiers' Angels, thank you all for the baked goods and everything else you have sent to me and my platoon...All the support and love didn't go without a lot of appreciation.  It's incredible what you do.  There are a lot of soldiers over there that don't get mail or anything else and with your help I was able to help a lot of soldiers with the things that the Angels have sent.  So again, from all of us from 10th mountain 3rd brigade 710 BSB--and especially the "Death Dealers"--we all thank you. - SPC Silva, April 2010

I want to express my gratitude for sending me my laptop. I am really grateful, more than you will ever know. It has helped me in so many ways. I have no family for moral support, so it is a baby sitter as well as a valuable learning tool. - Gerald, March 2010

I would like to take a minute or two to thank your organization...for adopting me.  The care packages are awesome, and really do a lot for morale.  Afghanistan is a depressing place where I often wonder if we're making any kind of difference.  At least I know people back home appreciate what we're doing.  So thanks again. - Stephen, March 2010

Ii just wanted to thank each and every one of you for helping me and my brothers and sisters of the 129th Transportation Company on our deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was lost on the many months that we were there and some of us had no one to talk to or write while we were there.  On Christmas of 2008, my unit and I received care boxes from you all and we are eternally grateful to you all, for that it was the best Christmas ever to hear from home.  Even though it wasn't from a loved one of our own, it let us know that there was still those who stick by our side no matter what.  And to get the snacks that for once I could read the label on was awesome.  It was all worthwhile just for a Pepsi that I was able to read the label on.  I kept one of them and I have it on my desk right now--just as a reminder that there is still those that love us, having never seen our faces. Thank you so much.  You all are truly my Angels. - Caleb, March 2010

Thank you so much for your generous and frequent donations to the US Army troops here. I received your...mug from the "goodies" received at the US Army office and use it every day for my regular and herb tea.  Many others have benefited from your generosity, although they may not have taken or had the time to write a thank-you note. In any case, your kind and admirable gifts are much appreciated. - Terry, US ally in Afghanistan, March 2010

I just talked to my son in Afghanistan.  He wanted me to pass on a big "Semper-Fi, Thanks"  from all of the 3/6 Marines.  They love the Girl Scout Cookies you sent.  You all are awesome. - Roberta, March 2010

I had [an Angel] who sent me letters and told me of her family.  She thanked me for my service and just kept me up to date on how her days were.  That sense of humanity, of home, was shared throughout my squad.  When things were at their darkest, her reminder of home gave us a flashlight, it gave us the light we needed to keep going. I just wanted to make sure that everyone at Soldier's Angels knew that what they are doing gives us Soldiers the light we need to keep going...Thank you so much for all you have done and continue to do. - Anonymous Soldier, March 2010

I am with HHC 1/36 IN at FOB Marez Iraq in the city of Mosul...we have lost three soldiers in the past month and I must tell you, your packages lifted our hearts.  Thank you so very much for thinking of us, please know that we are thinking you while we are here doing what we do. Godbless you all - SGT Vann Arnold, March 2010

You had no idea on how much of a difference you made for me and my soldiers. Please continue supporting us as we keep going with our mission. All the items and goodies and games you send are really helpful and necessary. - SSG Morales

In 2006, I was injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq. While waiting for a medevac flight to Walter Reed, one of the first things I was given was a handmade blanket decorated with red, white and blue with yellow ribbons. It was a godsend while waiting in that chilly room. Not long after returning home I received a heartfelt card from Soldiers' Angels. I'm embarrassed that I don't remember the sender, but the memory of your support will live forever. It was providence I didn't die that day. I was truly being watched over by Angels. - SFC (ret) Miller, March 2010

I wanted to thank everyone who sent letters and care packages to my husband and his unit...It made me as a spouse feel a little better knowing that the single soldiers and soldiers who were not getting any mail where getting things from someone who wanted to let them know that they care about them and that they support them...Thank you so much. You all are angels. - Sabrina

There we were....long crazy day, was getting a bit crazier and I walked back into the office. Sitting on my desk were two large boxes from Soldier's Angels filled with coffee, two awesome Soldiers' Angels coffee mugs, and a host of well-wishes and support from home!! I can't even begin to tell you how far that went to making the day so much better. Well maybe you can see from the smiles around the room. - Major C in Afghanistan, February 2010

We cannot even begin to express in words our gratitude towards the Angels for helping our family through this trying time in our life…You all have been instrumental in changing our lives for the better and giving us a second chance in life at peace and happiness after the storm.  I feel as though my husband finally feels the total worth of all his sacrifice for all those years.  He feels appreciated, loved, and cared for.  – wife of a wounded warrior, February 2010

I received a 2010 Soldiers' Angels calendar in the mail today and I wanted to write and say 'thank you' to such a wonderful bunch of people. I will hang this calendar with pride in my office. It will remind me daily of what I am working so hard to preserve, protect and support during my daily missions. The gold angel pin will adorn my civilian jacket for all to see when I am not in uniform and serve as a reminder not only that there are angels protecting us overseas, but angels here at home keeping them in their thoughts and prayers. - a stateside soldier, February 2010

Thank you so much for all that you do for us. Just to let you know that every letter and boxes counts enormously...there is nothing like receiving a box or a letter from someone unknown to us and understand that we are not alone in this war.  - MAJ P in Afghanistan, February 2010

I would love to thank ya’ll personally for the nice things that you do for the Wounded Warriors on Camp Pendleton...  When [my husband] told me about ya’ll coming in to feed the Marines and Sailors, I was like, “I didn't even know people like ya’ll were out there to help boost the spirits of these men and women!”  Thanks again for taking such great care of these men and women that need this from people who care about their spirits. - C. B., January 2010

I was deployed last year, and worked in a Medical Clinic in Iraq...Normally we would send [wounded] off on a helicopter, undressed and wrapped in sheets.  But with your help, we were able to toss a Soldiers' Angels kit on them, and know that when they arrived safe and were treated for their wounds, they would be able to wear some comfortable clothes and have the ability to shower--and even make a call home with the phone cards we had in the bags.  Your organization is tremendous, and every time I see your organization's icon, I take a pause for thought, and remember what that symbol meant to me and my casualties.  Thank you for continuing to support us.  It means so much to a soldier when they know not everyone has given up on us. - Melissa, Ft. Hood medic, January 2010

We have received a multitude of shipments from Soldier's Angels. The items have been perfect...Our patients have been able to dress appropriately for the climate. The knit caps with the Soldier's Angel emblem have been a real hit. So many of our injured soldiers and civilians need replacement clothing following the scissors in the Trauma Room. We can see their eyes light up when we are able to offer them clothing and toiletries for a shower... You have really done a wonderful service.  Thank you so much.   CPT Teresa Timms, deployed medical unit, January 2010

The food, hygiene products, books, banners and blankets were a great morale booster for us all…Our families would also like to send a thank you out to all of you. We have been letting them know what you have been doing for us. It has relieved some burden from their shoulders…They are all very grateful—as is the entire team—for your selfless actions. You are truly heroes to us. – MSG Holcomb, Team Renegade, January 2010

As a veteran of numerous combat deployments, one sometimes begins to wonder just how much the members of the military in harm's way are really thought of….It was such a pleasure to be presented with Christmas packages collected by Soldiers' Angels. I now have a travel mug from you (Soldiers' Angels), and I had just written home asking my wife to send one. Your efforts are appreciated far more than you can know or realize. - MAJ C.H., January 2010

My husband...is stationed in Thule AFB Greenland. He is six months into a 12-month deployment. One of your Angels sent all of the guys a case of Seattle's Best Coffee. Those boys (and girls) are in the middle of the dark season, the next time the sun comes up is March.  Coffee--good coffee--is much appreciated...  Thank you all so much for thinking of him. I do, every minute of every day. - Julia, January 2010

I just wanted to say thank you! I had signed my husband up last year.  He never got a chance to get on his email and so I intercepted his emails and met his soldier angel, Janne…and we have now become the best of friends. Just knowing someone else is there for me while my husband was deployed was great…We met up online and now we talk everyday, and call once a week…Janne ended up getting a soldier family and she has been my rock through this entire deployment. - Rebecca, December 2009

Your support has given all the families back home peace of mind that their soldiers are being very well taken care of...  Thank you for your patriotism and support to Black Knight Troop, 3-61 CAV. Sincerely, Black Knight FRG (regarding the fire at COP Keating), December 2009

If it wasn't for the lovely staff here at Soldiers' Angels and all the family members of the Armed Services, a lot of soldiers would probably not even get one letter from home. It is you guys that make America a more beautiful place to live. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH. - Jacob, December 2009

Thank you for everything that you have done for myself and my fellow soldiers....It is refreshing to know that there are caring people in this world that still think of others. I can remember that I received a package on my birthday and it made me cry....It made me feel great to know that someone was thinking of me and it made my day and my mission a little more enjoyable. - Deployed Soldier

Simple words which cannot begin to convey my thanks [for] your organization's support over the last 12 months in Afghanistan.  The items received from Soldiers' Angels were greatly appreciated and gave my team the needed boost in morale that we received over the holiday season, when many of us were missing home.  Thanks again for not forgetting us when many others have. - LCDR Rodriguez, Navy Embedded Training Team, December 2009

Words cannot express how your thoughtfulness has touched service members' hearts.  We are grateful for your continuous support and wish you all the best for a great year ahead!  Thanks again!  MSG Conner, 4th BCT (Airborne), December 2009
