Scouting with Soldiers' Angels
Soldiers’ Angels is honored to have a long relationship with both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, and continues to welcome the help they offer. Working together, Angels and Scouts have sent support to thousands of American troops overseas.
Soldiers' Angels specializes in guiding scouting individuals and organizations through the process of planning and completing a project to support the troops. To see just some examples of this great relationship, please visit the Deployed Medical Support blog (Eagle Scouts and Girl Scouts).
In addition to projects tailored to local scouting groups and their communities, Angel Scouting projects include:
- Boy Scout Popcorn – Boy Scout Troops are invited to email Caren at sacorporate@soldiersangels.org to arrange for donations.
- Girl Scout cookies – Soldiers just love their Girl Scout cookies! Email sacorporate@soldiersangels.org to arrange for pickup/shipping.
- Eagle Scout Candidates - See below for information. As of July, 2011, over 25 Eagle Candidates have successfully completed their projects and earned their Eagle Badges while working with Soldiers' Angels.
