May 23rd we will begin a week long kick off to our 2013 Project Valour IT fundraiser. We do this fundraiser annually, but this time we’ve been invited to take part in the craigconnects Veterans Challenge! That means we could win an additional $50,000 for Soldiers’ Angels! But we can't do it alone, and we’ve set the bar pretty high. Our goal is to raise a total of $100,000 dollars for technology for our Wounded, and here is how you can help:
Our Military deserve HUGE Angel Hugs for all that they do, and they appreciate hearing our thanks…so don’t hesitate, let’s get out there and show our nation what love and pride we hold for our dear Military.
Baby Showers like this one are hosted throughout the year all over the nation. Sometimes even by way of “Virtual Shower” over the internet. Our goal at Soldiers’ Angels is very simply “May no Soldier go unloved…” which for us includes their families and families to be. Many of our military members and their immediate families are far from home and their support systems, which can be really tough on these families. Without friends or family close by, things like Baby Showers can get overlooked.
Announcing the 2013 Fallen but not Forgotten Facebook Memorial! This memorial day we would like to honor our fallen Soldiers with a Virtual Memorial Wall.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: National Volunteer week begins April 21st, and Soldiers’ Angels is celebrating with… Salute to Service! This is a time to honor our volunteers, and show our Angel Power through Volunteerism.
