It gives me such a warm feeling in my heart to know that there are people out there who care about what our soldiers and their families are going through. I have received three gifts for our daughter and it is such a help. We are going through so much missing the holidays with Nicholas, especially since this is his daughter's first Christmas. My husband has been stationed in Texas, away from our family, and we are so blessed to have received Soldier's Angel packages for Christmas. He was able to get home for the holidays and enjoy some of the treats as well. A couple of your cards were placed on my car window a few weeks ago while I was having lunch with some coworkers. I wanted to tell you thank you for helping to lift my spirits. My husband’s deployment has been difficult on all of us and there are days when I wonder how we’ll make it through…selfish days where I just want to be responsible for nothing and no one because the stress of being the one here is overwhelming...So thank you for this pick-me-up. Thank you for giving my address & e-mail out to such wonderful people!! Yesterday I received a letter from J and an email from M. It is funny how I got both on the same day. I emailed M back and like I told her, she is the first military wife I ever had contact with. She gave me great info and a personal look about what military families go through once the spouse gets. Hey! I talked to my mom today. She said someone contacted her about the soldiers' angels. She said that would be really neat. She doesn't know any other people who have a soldier in the military. Now she can have people to talk to about her situation. Very cool. Thank you again. - MM
