Are donations to Soldiers' Angels tax deductible?
Soldiers' Angels has been designated a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity by the IRS, so direct donations to Soldiers’ Angels (for example, items shipped to the warehouse or checks sent to the office) are deductible to the extent allowed by law. Items that are donated directly to an individual (such as packages you pack and send to your adopted soldier) do not qualify for an IRS deduction under IRS Publication 526.
