Pennies for Heroes

Help collect 10 million pennies for Soldiers’ Angels care packages & postage! Soldiers’ Angels is trying to send every soldier deployed in a combat zone a care package with cards of encouragement, yummy goodies and a pair of white socks this summer, and we need your help.

This a great project for kids and community organizations--you can donate your piggy bank, challenge your school, PTA group, teachers, parents, senior citizen centers, businesses, churches, radio & TV stations, and newspapers (download flyer). Get the word out--you only have until June 1, 2009 to dig those pennies out from between the cushions, under the car mat, and inside your winter coat pockets!

Take your collected pennies to the bank, where they can be converted into a check or money order, then send it to Soldiers’ Angels 1792 E Washington Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91104.
