Thanks to passionate Angel Jolee Bates McGaugh and hundreds of other supporters, Soldiers' Angels will be receiving a $1,000 donation from Serenic Software! Jolee successfully nominated Soldiers' Angels for Serenic's "Year of Giving" contest.
The contest began in early December with essay-style nominations via Serenic's Facebook page. The company then narrowed it down to five finalists and the general public was given a few days to vote for the winner. Soldiers’ Angels won the most votes and will receive the $1,000 donation. In addition, Jolee received a Microsoft Surface tablet for nominating the winning organization.
"I am nominating Soldiers' Angels Nonprofit Organization for this because it is an organization that I truly believe in," Jolee wrote. "Our military, current and [past] deserve to feel they are appreciated and loved back home and this organization helps to accomplish that."
On its blog, Serenic posted, "Our team is thrilled to have such a fantastic organization as the recipient of our $1,000 ‘Year of Giving’ donation and we are honored to award Jolee with a Microsoft Surface for her thoughtful nomination."
Soldiers' Angels is honored and humbled to have great Angels like Jolee who take the time to nominate, such widespread support among Facebook users. Thank you to Jolee, our Facebook fans, and especially Serenic Software!
