OP Harmony Grows: Songs for Soldiers

Soldiers' Angels Operation Harmony is expanding to include a songwriting course at the Soldiers' Angels Support Center in San Antonio.  Led by hit songwriter Reneé Coale Willis, the aim is to help wounded warriors and veterans turn their war experience, thoughts and emotions into song.  Guidance selling songs and operating in the business will be included.  "I think it is going to be a very powerful and positive experience for everyone," Coale Willis says.

In addition teaching a course as an adjutant professor at Trinity University in San Antonio, Coale Willis teaches a songwriting class at the Warrior and Family Support Center at Fort Sam Houston.  "It was awesome!" she said about her first class at Ft. Sam, held last week.

Coale Willis is working hard to ensure that every soldier who wants to participate in the Soldiers' Angels songwriting class is able to.  She has collected enough to sponsor class supplies for three soldiers and is working on a large donation to cover an entire class worth of participants.

Additional sponsorship is needed to ensure the class at Soldiers' Angels is free to everyone who may need it.  For more information or to sponsor a participant, email csegner@soldiersangels.org.
