SA needs YOU for CFC!
08/14/12
In April, Soldiers' Angels put out the call for outgoing, articulate, energetic Angels to help get out the word across the country during the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Angels responded and now there are more area that need Angel representatives.
Can you help?
CFC is a huge, nationwide nonprofit fundraising campaign encouraging government employees (including military personnel) to support the activities of their chosen nonprofit. Soldiers' Angels as been part of the CFC for the last three years, but there are still a few local campaigns that haven't yet had a Soldiers' Angels presence. We need your help in informing these untapped campaigns about Soldiers’ Angels by holding events, speaking in front of local groups, or manning booths at events in the campaign area.
The goal is to get in touch with local leaders in each CFC campaign to work with them on representing Soldiers' Angels at any events that might be held in these areas, or any websites specific to those campaigns. If you have experience speaking in front of people or things like manning an information booth and would like to help tell people about the great work Soldiers' Angels does, please let us know! If you know anyone else who fits that profile, pass the word!
To see if there's a campaign in your area that needs a boost, see the list of cities below. For full information and support in representing Soldiers' Angels, email lvarn@soldiersangels.org with subject line "Local CFC."
