"The Wounded TLC team began in November of 2004 as part of the Soldiers Angels group.

We began with about a dozen angels sending a few cards to our wounded soldiers. We have since grown to almost 400 members from across the states and around the world that sends cards and letters in the thousands to wounded heroes all over the country.

The Team has expanded to help families of wounded,help to get supplies to the various hospitals both in theater and in the states and most recently sent well wishes to Hunts For Heroes another wounded support group that grew from the vision of one our our Soldier Angels members Billy Hodges.

It is a rare thing for a team member to receive a response to the letters they send but week after week they continue to show their support to our military who need us. From feedback from the families and the wounded heroes themselves we know we have made an impact and will continue to do what we can to help.

The role of the Wounded TLC Team will continue to evolve simply because the team members want to do everything they can to help our heroes and when a need arises they rise to the challenge."
