Group Activities with Soldiers' Angels

To all the kids that sent letters from the elementary school, thank you.  Your positive stories are what keep a lot of us going, and what we can't wait to get back to once we're done here. - MA2 Topping

Soldiers' Angels welcomes group adoptions, fundraisers, and other special activities in support of the mission that "No Soldier Go Unloved."  If you have a group that would like to be involved in a specific Soldiers' Angels team, please see each team or project page for contact information.

...we are grateful to know that there are people back home whom are willing to help keep our morale up during this hard times of deployment...The number one morale booster here in Afghanistan for us is mail/packages, and receiving those from you angels helped the soldiers whom were not receiving any for the 7 months we been here. - SPC F.M.

I would like to thank you, the volunteers, staff and donors for the care packages full of snacks, toiletries and blankets and with thoughtful Christmas cards from the Holland Senior Center in Holland MA.  It is items and notes like these that help us through the long and sometimes difficult days away from home, our families and friends. All of the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of PRT Khost, FOB Chapman Afghanistan appreciate being thought of back home by citizens from around the USof A.  It reminds us of the reasons for joining the military and volunteering to come half-way around the world to help others with their struggle for democracy.  Again, thank you for supporting us while we are so far from home. - Tim, January 2010

...My Soldiers are a bit depressed knowing that Halloween through New Years’ would be spent over here; for many of us it’s our 3rd trip.  So the leadership decided we needed to plan for a Halloween party and lift the morale of the troop.  I asked if there was any way possible for some Halloween decorations to be sent.  Within 48 hours, I received an email from Ms. Annie Barnes our unit’s Angel.  Our party planning is going to be able to continue forward due to the support and love we are receiving.  I know it doesn’t seem like much, a few decorations, but they mean so much to me and to my troopers.  God bless the Soldiers’ Angels and Ms. Barnes for her thoughfulness, love and support. Sincerely, CPT O.N.
