Financial Assistance Guidelines
The following info and application for assistance are available for download here. Soldiers’ Angels provides emergency relief grants to veterans and their families who are experiencing a temporary hardship (grants up to $500). Veterans and their families who are experiencing extended or broader hardships should contact the United Way for a referral to an appropriate organization by dialing “211”.
Applicant’s Checklist:
- Complete the application in its entirety.
- A VA Caseworker reviews, verifies content, and signs the application.
- Submit the application to Soldiers’ Angels via fax or email.
- Await an email/phone that confirms Soldiers’ Angels has received your application.
- Await a determination letter from Soldiers’ Angels – if no correspondence after 4 weeks, call to inquire.
