We need your help to support our veterans during the cold days ahead by making & donating a “No-Sew” blanket. These blankets are an easy craft project with a huge impact and a great way to show your appreciation to our veterans.
The blanket drive will continue through the early months of 2016. For more information about the drive, as well as instructions on how to make the no sew blankets, click here or contact Renee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you part of a larger company or organization that is looking to coordinate a service project to give back to our veterans? No Sew Blankets are a great project to do at your next company gathering! For more information for large companies/organizations, please contact InKind@soldiersangels.org.

Last year, Soldiers’ Angels was honored to have an amazing exchange student from Vietnam volunteer with us! During his stay in Florida, Trung Nguyen, a junior in High School, decided that free time was unnecessary (yep, a teenager said that!). So instead of wasting time, he assisted our team in Tampa with their work at the VA Hospital. Read more about Trung in our latest Angel Blog.

Friday, July 14th marked another successful month of the Soldiers' Angels Hunger Relief Program in both Charleston, South Carolina and Denver, Colorado. Each event provided over 200 low-income, at-risk, and homeless veteran families with much-needed food assistance. Many of the attending families rely on the food assistance they receive from Soldiers' Angels just to keep food on the table for their families. In addition to Charleston and Denver, the Soldiers' Angels Veteran Mobile Food Distribution also occurs monthly in Detroit, Michigan and San Antonio, Texas. Additional events in other cities are in the works for the near future.

It’s amazing what happens when people come together to do things for their community. Members of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) representing companies in the collision repair industry - Insurers, rental car companies, collision repairers, paint suppliers, parts vendors, etc. pool their talents and resources to refurbish and then donate vehicles to individuals or organizations within their community through the Recycled Rides(™) program. Learn more about this great program and the deserving veterans the program recently supported.
Can you imagine a morning without coffee? For some of our deployed service members, a cup of morning coffee may be a luxury. Luckily, Soldiers' Angels has thousands of bags ready to get to our troops... we just need your help to cover the cost of shipping. Shipping one care package, which costs $18, will supply enough coffee to make 496 cups of coffee! Click here if you can help us ship one or more care packages of coffee to deployed service members.
New York Yankees Manager, Joe Girardi, sported a Soldiers' Angels t-shirt during his press conference on July 4th. He mentioned Soldiers' Angels during the interview and the great work all of our Angel volunteers do for service members, veterans, and their families. Thank you to Joe Girardi and the New York Yankees for showing your support for Soldiers' Angels! Watch the press conference here.
We were shocked and saddened to hear the tragic news about the USS Fitzgerald a few weeks ago. As soon as we heard, we put our heads together to see how we could help. The call was put out to Angel volunteers to send a one-time care package to crew members of the Fitzgerald. Angels jumped at the opportunity and got to work creating and sending boxes. Click here to see just a few of the care packages they put together.

At Soldiers’ Angels, we think an important part of celebrating the 4th of July is honoring our military service members and veterans as this country is, afterall, the Land of the Free because of the Brave. Our amazing Angel volunteers go out of their way to help our veterans and deployed service members share in the spirit of this festive holiday. Here are just some of the great ways our Angels are supporting our service members and veterans this Independence Day.

Within the ranks of the U.S. Military are a few elite groups of specially trained military service members who make up the United States Special Operations Forces. These men and women are trained to go on special missions that are often very dangerous. We are so fortunate to have a team of Angels who serves these elite heroes. Learn more about the Soldiers’ Angels Special Operations Forces Team (aka SOFT) and the highly skilled Angels who support the team.
San Antonio, Texas has a long history of consistent military presence that has spanned nearly 300 years. The city has been known to many as "Military City USA," and on June 19th, 2017, that title became official. The City of San Antonio revealed their new logo and trademarked term "Military City USA." Soldiers' Angels is proud to call San Antonio home to its headquarters and grateful to serve the many active duty service members and veterans that also reside in and around the San Antonio area.
