SAND SCARVES
To purchase sandscarves to send to your hero or to " ANY SOLDIER "

Fabric:
Cotton T-shirt fabric. It often comes in tubes at fabric stores. Note that the fabric should not be a polyester blend.
Cut a 14" piece, open the ends and serge the edges.
Finished size:
Approx. 14" long x 60/65" wide.
They don't look like much!! But wrapped around head, neck and face they really help our soldiers keep the very fine, dusty sand out of their eyes and mouths.
Colors:
Here is a swatch of the new ACU uniform fabric. Look for dusty tans, khakis, greys. Soldiers are NOT permitted to wear other colors!
